Grammy’s Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter (room temperature)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 beaten eggs
- 2/3 cups all purpose flour
- 4 heaping teaspoons cocoa
- 1/8 Tsp salt
- 1/2 Tsp vanilla
Directions
| Preheat the oven to 325 deg F. Grease an 8 inch square glass Pyrex dish with butter (use wax paper with soft butter on it to grease the dish) | |
| Cream together the sugar and butter. Add the 2 beaten eggs, flour, cocoa, vanilla and salt. Sir until nicely combined. | |

Spread in the bottom of the Pyrex dish.  | |

Bake 20 - 25 minutes until just cooked. Overcooking will result in tough dry brownies.  | |

Ice while warm. Serve plain or with ice cream.  | |
