Peach and Plum Crisp is a delicious combination of flavours, nicely served warm or with whipped cream or ice cream.
Our Farmer’s market is reaching the end of the season, but we are still blessed with fresh peaches and plums. Apples and pears are also arriving farm fresh and ready. It is difficult to want to purchase them and then find a good way to use them before they get too ripe.
Peach and Plum Crisp, with a hint of lemon and maple syrup is the perfect dessert to celebrate these wonderful fruits.

Ingredients
- 1 Tsp ground cinnamon
Fruit Mixture
- 3 Medium to large ripe peaches (peeled, pit removed and cut into wedges)
- 6 Medium to large plums (pit removed and cut into wedges)
- 1 Tbsp all purpose flour
- 1 Tsp grated lemon rind
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup or 1 Tsp of white sugar
Crumb Topping
- 1/3 Cup soft butter
- 2/3 Cups brown sugar
- 2/3 Cups all purpose flour
