Ingredients
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 Tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 Tsp salt
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 1/2 Cups milk
- 1 Tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 Tsp freshly grated nutmeg
- 8 Cups stale (day or 2 old) bakery bread, such as French or Italian (cut into 1 1/2 inch chunks)
- 3 ripe bananas (sliced 1 inch thick on the diagonal)
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
