Roasted Sweet Potato Wedges

Ingredients

  • 3 Large sweet potatoes
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 Tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 Tsp salt
  • 1/8 - 1/4 Tsp cayenne pepper

Directions

Preheat the oven to 400 deg F. Peel the sweet potatoes and cut into 1 inch (2.5 cm) wedges.
Roasted Sweet Potato Wedges - cut the potatoes into wedges
Toss the potatoes with oil. Mix the brown sugar, chili powder, salt and cayenne pepper together. Sprinkle on potatoes and stir until evenly coated.
Roasted Sweet Potato Wedges - sprinkle the seasonings on the potatoes
Spread in a single layer on a baking sheet which has been lined with parchment paper.
Roasted Sweet Potato Wedges - ready to roast
Roast the potatoes for 30 minutes, turning every 10 minutes until tender and browned.
