Strawberries Romanoff

Strawberries Romanoff

Strawberries Romanoff, made famous at Michael Romanoff’s restaurant on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, was actually created as “Strawberries Americaine Style” by a chef in London England.  The dish consisted of strawberries in Grand Marnier, blended into whipped cream and softened ice cream.

This version of Strawberries Romanoff,  mixes the strawberries with Cointreau and rum and then with whipped cream and Kirsch.  Shaved chocolate makes a nice garnish.
